AMERICAN AIRLINE ARENA
The American Airlines Arena is situated in the center of the Entertainment District and Downtown Miami and is home to the NBA’s Miami Heat. The arena also hosts over 80 non-basketball related events each year including national conferences, concerts, family shows, and more. This versatile venue is world-class and positioned in a beautiful waterfront setting, facing the beautiful beaches and nightlife of Miami. American Airlines Arena is just a short walk from The Gabriel Miami.
SOUTH BEACH (6th STREET)
South Beach is home to beaches and a vibrant nightlife scene, with lively restaurants, clubs, and entertainment. Lined along the beaches are indie and boutique shops as well as outdoor cafes with views of the boardwalk and the ocean. Modern art, including the Wolfsonian-FIU museum, are also located along the coast of South Beach.
PORT OF MIAMI CRUISE TERMINAL 1.5 MILES
The PortMiami cruise terminals are some of the most modern and sophisticated terminals of the world, designed to move passengers quickly from loading dock to cruise ships. With a new Terminal B set to open in 2020, it will be able to accommodate cruise lines carrying up to 5,000 passengers. With this additional terminal, the PortMiami will have a total of seven terminals.
Wynwood Walls features murals and portrait galleries of graffiti and street art, showing a new appreciation towards this form of art. The founder, Tony Goldman, believed that this genre was underappreciated and demanded more respect by presenting it in a way that the public was able to respect. Today, the Wynwood Walls have seen over 50 international artists and covered more than 80,000 square feet of walls.
MARLINS PARK AND STADIUM
The Marlins Park is home to the Major League Baseball’s Miami Marlins and located just two miles from downtown. The facility hosts home games and also soccer matches, sporting events, and fundraisers in the winter baseball offseason. The contemporary and abstract building of the park makes it an iconic venue in Miami.
BRICKELL CITY / DOWNTOWN MIAMI
Downtown Miami features an array of fashionable boutiques, attractions, top-rated restaurants, and the urban neighborhood of Brickell. Brickell is Miami’s financial center, with businesses and condos overlooking Biscayne Bay. Brickell starts at the Miami River and spans the waterfront of Miami Circle Park.
PEREZ ART MUSEUM
The Perez Art Museum was founded in 1984 and is Miami’s first modern and contemporary art museum. It features waterfront dining, a gift shop, art books, and handmade furnishings and other items for sale. Just a short stroll from The Gabriel Miami, the museum provides guests an educational experience for both residents and visitors from around the world.

The Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami (ICA Miami) is dedicated to promoting continuous experimentation in contemporary art, advancing new scholarship, and fostering the exchange of art and ideas throughout the Miami region and internationally. ADRIENNE ARSHT CENTER FOR PERFORMING ART
Set in the heart of downtown Miami, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami Dade County is committed to welcoming and connecting ALL people to the arts, to the Arsht Center and to each other. The Jackson Memorial Hospital provides the local Miami community healthcare and access to multiple medical services and specialized treatments. The Jackson Memorial Hospital is known for its expansive and accredited medical research and the Ryder Trauma Center. The hospital has received multiple accolades and awards since its opening 100 years ago.
